The philosophy of the VitaSol Therme is based on the four building blocks of optimal relaxation: exercise, cold-blooded applications, physical relaxation and mental relaxation.

Since it was inaugurated in 1875, the Hermann Monument has probably been the most important and famous destination. It was built to commemorate the Varus Battle in the Teutoburg Forest and is now the landmark of Lipperland. On the Grotenburg you will find a wide range of restaurants and numerous hiking trails.
On the eastern edge of the Teutoburg Forest near Horn-Bad Meinberg are the Externsteine, also known as “The Stonehenge of the Teutoburg Forest”. The 13 rocks are up to 38 meters high, can be climbed in places and are among the best-known natural monuments in Germany. Sandstones were erupted millions of years ago. Numerous visitors choose this mythical place and place of worship as a destination.
